What We Do
We sharpen tools people rely on to work. Shears, clipper blades, and knives are handled with care, patience, and intention. No rushed jobs, no shortcuts.
You’ve got two ways to work with us.
Choose the option that fits your needs best.
📦 Mail-In Sharpening
Mail-in sharpening is a simple and flexible option, especially if you’re outside our mobile routes or prefer shipping on your own schedule. Pack your tools securely, send them our way, and we’ll take care of the sharpening and handing the return.
Mail-in service works best with a little planning. If you have upcoming time off, a vacation, or a slower period in your schedule, that’s often the ideal time to send tools in. Planning around those windows helps avoid stress and keeps timing simple on both ends.
To help things run smoothly, pack items securely to prevent damage in transit, include a printed confirmation or service number inside the box, and make sure the name on your shipping label matches the name on your form.
Mail-in sharpening is meant to be easy and dependable. A little planning goes a long way.

Tool-Specific Care
✂️ Shears
Shears are inspected for alignment, tension, and overall condition before service. Sharpening is done appropriately for the shear considering things like convex (Japanese) and bevel edged. with care taken to remove as little material as possible. We use Japanese water stones to maintain shear ridelines to help keep your shears operating smoothly. Minor adjustments or repairs are addressed when needed, and every shear is tested before being returned to make that hair (or fur) fly off.
🧰 Clipper Blades
Clipper blades are sharpened on an aluminum lapping wheel, each blade is then cleaned, oiled reassembled and then tested using faux fur to quality check the sharpening and tension needs to help ensure you are only receiving back the finest cutting tools.
🔪 Knives
Knives are sharpened with attention to their intended use and edge style. We focus on restoring performance while preserving blade life, and each knife is checked to ensure it cuts cleanly before sending back to you ready to slice and dice.
We do not currently offer sharpening for serrations but look to be adding that in the future.
🛠️Shear Alignment Notice
When servicing shears, we inspect alignment, tension, and overall condition. Alignment correction is a common and often necessary adjustment to restore proper performance and cutting feel.
In most cases, this adjustment is completed without issue. Breakage is rare, but it can occur when shears have pre-existing damage, excessive wear, corrosion, or weak spots in the metal. These conditions are not always visible until an adjustment is attempted.
Because of this, we give you the option to authorize or decline alignment correction attempts.
🧠 Our Philosophy on Sharpening
We remove only what’s needed, preserving the life of your blades whether its a clipper blade, shear or knife.
Our approach focuses on restoring the edge while removing as little material as possible, helping extend the usable life of your tools.
What happens if something is found to be beyond repair? No worries! Even if we give it a go, we won’t charge for something we wouldn’t be happy to use ourselves
✅ Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If something isn’t right with your sharpening service, let us know and we’ll work with you to make it right
For mobile sharpening, on-site correction is often possible and is our preferred first step when scheduling allows. If a return visit is not available, we will offer to refund for the item sharpening or correct at our next scheduled appointment
For mail-in sharpening, you may be asked to return the item(s) in question for inspection and correction.
Refunds for postage will be given when the issue is verified to be from incorrect sharpening or repair.
Concerns should be communicated within 2 weeks of service. Issues caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper oiling, cutting dirty hair or just lots of normal wear after service are not covered.
We believe clear communication and fair solutions lead to the best outcomes for everyone.
