Who we are
Caeton Sharpening started the same way a lot of good things do - out of real work and real need.
Before sharpening full time, we were groomers ourselves. We depended on our tools every single day, and we learned quickly how much good equipment matters. When something wasn’t cutting right, it didn’t just slow us down. It affected the quality of our work and the comfort of the animals we cared for.
That experience shapes everything we do now.
We don’t see tools as just metal. We see them as extensions of the work you do. That’s why we approach sharpening with patience, care, and intention, removing only what’s needed and doing our work as unto God, with intention and gratitude.
Why We Do This
We believe good work deserves good tools, and good tools deserve to be cared for properly.
Sharpening isn’t about speed or volume for us. It’s about restoring performance, extending the life of your equipment, and giving you tools you can trust when you put them back to work.
Whether we’re sharpening on a mobile route in Ohio or handling mail-in orders at the bench, our goal stays the same - thoughtful sharpening done the right way.
Our Approach
We take a light, careful approach to sharpening
We remove as little material as possible
We inspect and test every tool before it leaves our hands
We communicate clearly and honestly
No shortcuts. No mystery process. Just careful, consistent work.
Our Mail-In Sharpener - Anthony
Anthony Caeton is the sharpener behind our mail-in services, and we’re grateful to have him on the team.
He brings a steady, detail-focused approach to the bench and takes joy in doing things the right way. Anthony understands that sharpening isn’t just about making something sharp. It’s about balance, feel, and consistency. He treats every tool with care and respect, knowing it belongs to someone who relies on it every day.
We trust him with our standards, and your tools.
The owners - Daniel & Audrey Caeton
Daniel and Audrey Caeton at your service. We’re a traveling husband-and-wife team behind Caeton Sharpening. Daniel, operates as the mobile sharpener and steady strength of the business, bringing skill, consistency, and care to every tool he touches. Audrey oversees a lot of the behind-the-scenes action, running the social media side, and much of the day-to-day coordination that helps keeps everything running smoothly.
We started Caeton Sharpening in 2022 from scratch and have worked hard to build a strong reputation rooted in character and quality. We believe that everything we do should be done as if we are doing it for God, and we strive to give our best in every interaction and every service.
Outside of work, we’re a God-fearing, nature-loving, adventure-seeking couple who loves animals. Audrey also works with a holistic pet company alongside Caeton Sharpening. We share life with three adorable senior pups, though we don’t remind them of that, and two outdoor-loving cats who enjoy traveling with us. A few fun facts about us: we knew each other just six months before getting married in 2020, we were both homeschooled and come from large families, Daniel is known for his dad jokes, and our long-term goal is to build a homestead and live a little outside of traditional societal norms.
We are incredibly thankful and blessed to serve so many amazing clients and customers. Your trust and support mean more to us than we can say. Thank you for being here.
If you ever have a question or concern, we’d rather talk it through than rush past it. Relationships matter to us as much as results.
“If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed.”
Ecclesiastes 10:10
“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
